The good stuff just keeps coming...
Football season has only been over for a few weeks and already the hype for next season has already begun. Without a doubt, the 2006 Football Season will be the most anticipated season in recent memory, perhaps ever.
But wait. WVU has a good basketball team as well? Oh yea. Thats right, the top rated team in the Big East hails from Morgantown. Finally getting the national attention it deserves, the Mountaineers have cracked the top 10.
Realistically, how good is this team? I can't wait to find out.
In other news, WVU has Marshall on the mind. Yes, the other University. Tonight is the Capital Classic. It will be the 15th consecutive meeting between the two schools. While WVU has won all but 3, the score differential averages only 6 points. If the fellas stay focused, this will be a good old but whoopin, Mountaineer Style.

B-Ball on a Roll!
Let me see if I can get this straight.
The Sugar Bowl Champion WVU football team no sooner rolled back into Morgantown, and our men's basketball squad was off to battle the Bulls of South Florida in the first conference game of the season. We won. On to confront a #3 ranked Villanova squad. We won. Next the first of three home games against the 10-2 Georgetown Hoyas. We won.
So how do you follow up arguably the best football season in school history? With the best start in conference play since the Mountaineers joined the Big East in 1995.
I can't wait to see what's next. Let's Go 'Eers!

I See Sick People
The new year is upon us. Thankfully, Tyler has overcome his week of agony. Unfortunately, my wife has developed a severe case of the nastieness in her throat. She began feeling ill the night of the Sugar Bowl. She was so ill that she actually slept through the game!
Speaking of the bowl game. Let's Go Mountaineers! Has there ever been a more perfect First Quarter? 21 to zip.

As a devoted WVU fan I hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Clearly, the Georgia fanbase does not. I haven't seen such bewilderment and shock on faces at a football game since a certain blocked punt in 1996. Priceless.
